About Richard Waterfield
Drawing upon nearly 30 years of financial leadership experience, Richard Waterfield serves as co-chairman and CEO of Waterfield Financial, a subsidiary of a private financial organization in the United States that has facilitated more than $100 billion in transactions in more than 50 countries. In addition to serving on the board of several of its subsidiaries, Richard Waterfield is a member of the board of directors of National InterBank, Affinity Financial Corporation, the Columbia Economics Advisory Council, and the Orange County chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization.
He has worked in various capacities with the firm since 1989. Prior to taking on increased responsibilities, Richard Waterfield served as an institutional equity advisor with Goldman Sachs and as a bank stock analyst at Prudential Securities. With the latter, he was trained by acclaimed analyst George M. Salem and wrote articles that appeared in The Wall Street Journal. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Columbia University and is a summer graduate of Culver Military Academy, which he regularly supports through his firm's charitable foundation.
